I love engagement shoots. There’s something so special about celebrating the exciting new journey a couple is about to embark on. Let’s be honest, wedding planning can be a super stressful experience for a lot of couples. So taking some time away from it all to have some fun together and to capture some photos of the two of you is a great way to celebrate this next step you are taking together. Today’s couple, Holly & Guntars, chose to have their engagement photos taken in a place special to them, the beautiful Peak District in England.

Peak District Engagement Shoot
We matched on tinder. When we went for drinks for our first date, we hit it off straight away. We had booked a holiday together within the first 2 weeks!
I (Holly) wanted it private. Guntars told me he was planning a weekend activity in May. Saturday night he said we need to leave. He drove through the night to Lands End (8 hour drive). We went for a walk along the front at sunrise and he got down on one knee.
We love walking and hiking in the Peak District so was an easy choice to go there where we spend a lot of time.
Online - signed up to a website and found them through that.
We wanted natural photos. Nothing loads. Just relaxed and ‘us’.
Laughing about having to kiss in front of a camera!! The day was really good - they were organised and had ideas for shots.
