Countryside Wedding Outside Rome

Andrè and Anna travelled from Germany together with their large group of friends from across Europe to get married in Italy in the beautiful village of Borgo di Tragliata, for their countryside wedding outside Rome.

The Wedding

They enjoyed a full weekend of celebrations in the warm Italian sun. On the day of the wedding, both Anna andAndrè decided to make the most of the amazing weather and spend as much time as possible outside in the sunshine. Their ceremony brought together family and friends in the gardens of their magnificent Italian villa to say their wedding vows.

Even though the paid decided to say their I-Dos in Italy, one German tradition had followed them over. Their friends presented them with a large bedsheet with both of their names written inside a large heart. This tradition is supposed to symbolize a couple’s first challenge as man and wife. First, they must cut out the heart shape (usually using tiny nail scissors) and then the groom is expected to carry his bride through the middle.

The Location

Borgo di Tragliata is located in the Roman countryside, just a short drive from the capital city. This stunning estate includes stunning houses dating back to the sixth-century set amongst organic farmland.
