About:
I’m a wedding and elopement photographer based on the north-west coast of Ireland. I’m a Derry girl originally, now living in the wild countryside of Donegal, after decades of city living in London, Dublin, and Jeonju (South Korea).
Things I love… I love the sea, the mountains, and the rain, and Ireland has plenty of all of these. It really is a magical place that draws people in, the perfect place to celebrate your love for one another. I love looking at old photographs and wondering what the people in them were thinking; I’m intrigued by the context behind the moment. When I’m photographing someone on their wedding day, I think about the people who will look at these images in generations to come.
I also love to travel – I’ve been to over 30 countries and have many more on my bucket list. I’m happy to travel anywhere to tell your love story. Nothing excites me more than planning a trip to a new place, to explore unknown landscapes and cities.
When not out photographing, I love nothing more than a glass of wine in front of the fire, having the chats and a bit of a dance with friends, and dreaming about my next trip. I love music (particularly David Bowie), cats, dogs, humans and cheese. I also have a bit of an obsession with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
When it comes to photographing you on your wedding day, I want to focus on you and your love for one another, celebrating it in a way that’s true to you. I’m here to capture every part of your day, big or small. The in-between moments, the looks, the hand squeezes, the tiny details.
If you’re up for running through the countryside together, getting your clothes a bit dirty, your hair a bit wild, having the craic together, I’ll be up for following you through it!
