Intimate Wedding in Naxos in Greece

This week’s real wedding on the blog is so wonderfully unique. Not only is the location of this intimate wedding in Naxos in Greece absolutely stunning, but we also have a beautiful bride in a blue wedding dress!

Claire and Nick’s Intimate Wedding In Naxos, Greece

These two artistic souls had a vision for their wedding day. They wanted it to be an intimate celebration of family. They chose to keep things simple and rustic, highlighting the beautiful scenery around Naxos.

Claire opted out for a really cool blue wedding dress from Marchesa Notte that really matched well with the blue tones of the ocean. Except for their half-arch of flowers for their ceremony, they kept everything stripped-back and simple. They wanted their wedding to be environmentally-friendly, so did their best to create as little waste as possible. Their wedding was definitely a mix of California vibes meets Greek history and culture. Their ceremony was held under a 5,000 years old olive tree - the oldest one in Naxos and in Greece, and afterwards, they celebrated with an intimate dinner in a local restaurant.

Their favourite moment from the day?

After they kissed an enormous herd of sheep and goats came running into the olive grove.
