Before I received this submission, I had absolutely no idea how stunning some of the landscapes are in Poland. From the first glimpse of this incredible after wedding shoot in the Tatra Mountains in Poland Magdalena Glowacka from Fotomagoria, I knew I needed to feature it on We Are The Wanderers. But it’s not just the scenery that is breathtaking. Magdalena also captured the connection between the couple in such a beautiful way that this session has me totally smitten.

About The Couple
1) How did you meet?
Our whole life, both before and after marriage, is connected with traveling. Although our family homes are located at a distance of 20 km from each other, and our high schools were located in the same city in the south of Poland, we met during a youth holiday camp in France. We were then 17 years old and we were joined by many passions: traveling, music, hiking. Our first fascination turned into love and although we met as very young people, we have been together for 10 years, and we have been married for almost two years.

2) What made you want to travel to this location for your photo shoot?
We’ve been traveling all over the world for 10 years. Sometimes we spend several days traveling, sometimes a few weeks or few months. However, the closest to our heart are the mountains of southern Poland - the Tatra and Pieniny Mountains. The magic of the mountains, their strength, power, beauty and peace was the dream place for our after wedding shoot. In the mountains we feel at home.

The wedding was one of the most beautiful events in our lives. It was a day of emotions, joy, love, crazy fun, but also a kind of tension and positive stress. Wedding photo sessions contain all the spontaneity of the day, but we needed a romantic session which was only about us and our love. Photo session after the wedding was a special experience for us, full of intimacy, love and subtlety.
