Bride Wears Wellington Boots For Her English Cricket Club Wedding

You don’t always have to travel miles to celebrate your love of the great outdoors on your wedding day, as this stunning wedding from Hannah Hall Photography perfectly demonstrates.

An English Cricket Club Wedding

Chloé and David are about as outdoorsy as it gets. Chloé left her career in teaching to look after their goats in the pursuit of living self sufficiently. David spends as much time as he can at their smallholding which has just started producing their own goat milk soap! Their attitude towards life was so evident in their wedding; homegrown flowers, a home-reared goat for dinner, a pre-loved dress and a good old knees up at the local cricket club with plenty of music with all of their friends and family.

On the morning of their wedding, they woke up to rainclouds and drizzle. This, of course, caused them a little anxiety as they had planned for an outdoor wedding celebration with only a few gazebos set up at the cricket club for picnicking under. Chloé however, just embraced the English weather and packed her wellies. Thankfully the showers had passed by the time they arrived at the registry office, however, since Kent has seen a huge amount of rainfall in the days running up the wedding, it was rather soggy underfoot, to say the least.

The pair completed the legalities at the register office in Canterbury and had a really beautiful second outdoor ceremony back at the Cricket club led by their priest. The cricket club provided them with the most stunning backdrop for their wedding day. Set within acres of orchards, the couple explored the grounds for portraits. In the evening they entertained their guests with a Mariachi band while they dined on a home-reared goat.
